Digital District partnered with the National Association of Black Journalists on a comprehensive social media strategy for their Annual Convention and Career Fair in Boston. We created a social media wall to engage attendees at opening, closing and plenary sessions, visually encouraging more on-site participation. Our robust social strategy enabled moderators to accept questions in real time, allowing the entire country to participate in the conversation, and a sponsored social media lounge offered an exclusive venue to capture content with VIP speakers and guests for Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Our efforts resulted in 27 million social media impressions over the course of the convention and led to national and local Twitter trending for the #NABJ2014 hashtag.
